Clonter is 50 this year! Whilst we have a full programme lined up, there are still a few events that need some funding, and there is also the ongoing need for funding generally to continue to provide a nurturing and supportive place for emerging talent to flourish and entertain our audiences for generations to come.

Tea With… The Minstrel’s Songbook – Pete Morton & Mother’s Day!
Wed 6 March, 3pm

There is only one month to go until we welcome back Pete Morton to entertain an afternoon tea audience, following his ‘When We Sing Together’ Christmas Gathering Tea in 2021. Might this also make the perfect Mother’s Day treat?

Pete Morton, the highly acclaimed troubadour, will be bringing his ‘Minstrel’s Songbook’ to Clonter this spring. From the popular ballads and standards of the 20s – Al Jolson, Ella Fitzgerald, Fats Waller and Hoagy Carmichael – to the well known folk and pop songs of the 60’s, Pete will deliver these timeless classics with his inimitable stage presence and powerful euphonious voice.
