Opera Gala
Sat 6 November, 7pm
If you don’t as yet have plans for tomorrow night, you are not too late to book for Clonter’s Opera Gala.
As ever the programme offers a wide range of popular operatic rep, with some lesser known ones as well, all set into context by the director, Isabelle Kettle.
This year’s programme includes a good dollop of Rossini, Donizetti, Tchaikovsky, with an appearance of Mozart, Rimsky-Korsakov, Poulenc, Delibes, Offenbach, and Lehar, followed by the ever popular lighter section of the evening, which includes a bit of Rodgers & Hammerstein, Kurt Weill, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, and Frederick Loewe, finished off with a bit of celebratory Sondheim.
The booking period for suppers has now closed, but picnic tables to share are still available. To book a picnic table seat, please ring the box office on 01260 224514 (10am – 1pm on performance days).
We would also like to reassure you that with the continuing, and fluctuating, pandemic situation, should you need to cancel due to Covid, a full refund will be offered.
