We are delighted this year to be able to share with you a longer version of their transatlantic collaboration, in a specially recorded half hour show for a Clonter audience, thanks to the powers of technology.
Ben Somers delighted a Ramsey Room Audience in the autumn of 2019 with his String Band, to rave reviews, begging the question as to when he would return.
Grant Gordy and Ben Somers have several years and many miles of music between them. Since being thrown together as teachers at ‘Sorefingers’ music camp in 2014, they have toured all around the world developing their exciting and dynamic style of music which is creatively and stylistically limitless yet steeped in tradition.
Alongside their respective solo careers Grant and Ben have recorded and toured with the likes of Kate Williams, Gareth Lockrane,Bruce Molsky, Dr John, Eliza Carthy, Dirk Powell, Taylor Swift, David Grisman, Seal, Darol Anger, Roberto Pla and many more.
We very much hope you will join us tomorrow night. This event will be available for one week.
