Jazz in June – Pearson Plays Porter

‘Weren’t they just brilliant?! What a fab evening – sooo enjoyed it’

Thank you to the 339 people who attended the Pearson Plays Porter show on Saturday night. This was the biggest house size Clonter has had since Covid began, and it was just WONDERFUL to be able to provide an audience of this size for James Pearson and Friends once again.

Lots of newcomers this year, and although ticket sales were slow to start with, thanks to a number of last minute dot com-ers, we were just short of a FULL HOUSE on the night, which was GLORIOUS after having seen much reduced ticket sales thus far this year.

Clonter was also delighted to be able to welcome a number of guests from the Ukraine and their hosts, who received a rapturous applause.

The sun also shone, and we had some campers as well this year. Something we hope more will do in future. Possibly for Albert Herring, which is next up. Click here for more info.
