Situated in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire countryside, Clonter Opera Theatre has been a cultural centre for providing high-quality entertainment since 1974. Throughout the year, our audiences enjoy a variety of intimate musical and theatrical experiences.
In addition to a full year’s programme, Clonter’s diverse range of facilities is available to businesses on a quest for a unique environment for conferences, seminars, product launches, team-building activities and corporate entertainment. Those looking beyond the conventional meeting or away-day location and seeking something more innovative are given the opportunity to make use of our 400-seat auditorium — the ideal setting for large-scale presentations or drama-based team events.
Off stage, our Ramsey Room and Foyer can accommodate up to 200 delegates and various indoor activities. Additional space is available in our Carmen, Bannerman and Hancock Rooms, which are perfect for smaller groups of 20 to 60 delegates. Clonter’s vast outdoor spaces offer a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and plenty more opportunities for other collaborative tasks — all within easy reach of the M6 and nearby train stations.
