Barber of Seville
17 – 24 July
Last week we shone a spotlight on the set builder. This week we would like to do the same for the Costume Supervisor, Evelien Van Camp.
Evelien Van Camp – Costume Supervisor
After her theatre, film and literature studies at University of Antwerp, Evelien worked as assistant director, stage manager and production manager for various Belgian theatres and ensembles, amongst which I SOLISTI and the Flemish opera.
Since moving to London she has specialised in costume, her first love. Before Il Barbiere, she has worked as costume supervisor with Bettina John on GHBoy at Charing Cross theatre and Fatherland at London College of Music.
Back in Belgium she designed and made costumes for a variety of productions such as Titanic, the musical, Seussical and Alice in Wonderland.
